Cavaliers

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is an affectionate, lively, outgoing  pet that is always wanting to please.  They are intelligent and usually easy to train. Cavalier's are naturally well behaved and get along well with other dogs and non-canine pets. They love people and need lots of companionship to be happy.  The Cavalier is descended from hunting dogs and love to romp in the great outdoors.  They are a pleasant companion dog, have a noteworthy sense of smell and vision and can be used in short hunts in open country. 

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel adjust well to apartment life.  They are moderately active indoors and a small yard will be  sufficient.  They enjoy a good romp in the park.

The breed is prone to several hereditary problems to include; mitral valve disease, eye disease, dislocating kneecaps, and hip dysplasia.  We have OFA certificates for heart, hips and knees to verify testing that was a normal result and CERF for eyes.
